Although the Miller Classic oxford shoe in calf and patent leather was the original Miller, it is clear that the Miller Lucida will be the most popular Miller. Being made entirely from stiffer high shine calf leather, the Miller Lucida is the perfect smart shoe for absolutely any occasion. If you only own one black shoe, make it a black Miller Lucida. The classic five-hole oxford is the most elegant of men’s shoe styles. It hugs the foot’s natural shape and is complimentary to any tailored line with which it meets. Mr. Hare oxfords always come with folded seams to give them a more contemporary appearance and faster line. We have also added a rubber sole for the first time to avoid aquaplaning, if the rain is as consistent as last years. This season they are also available in deep autumnal colours of racing green, grey, plum and toffee, as well as all black. As you may know, my Miller is named after Henry Miller who famously immersed himself in Parisian culture in the 30s. He mixed in high and low circles and laid down the guttural truth of his experiences in his Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn books. Two must-reads.

All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment and within 14 days of online purchase. Returns will be charged at the following rates, per box: UK - £6, EU - £12, Rest of the World - £24. In some cases, returns will be free of charge where there is a useable nearby UPS drop off point - please contact for locations near you. Any subsequent returns from the same order will incur additional shipping costs. Please contact to obtain a returns number and pay for delivery in order to proceed with your return. The returns number should be written on your original invoice and on the airway bill or return-shipping label you are provided by the courier. We request that returns are shipped through our courier UPS. MHL is not liable for any returned goods which are not returned in this way. Failure to obtain a returns number or return goods using UPS does not affect your statutory rights.

MHL will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been worn and are creased and/or scratched in any way. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received in the conditions mentioned, customer should notify us (by phone or email) on the same day if they wish to return. We strongly advise all customers to check products thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.

Please be aware that shoes must be returned with their original designer packaging. Shoes returned without their original boxes will not be accepted.

For reasons of hygiene, any fragrance or toiletries item which have been opened may not be returned, unless faulty.

Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).Should you wish to exchange an item for an alternative size, please email us when you request your returns number and we will reserve it for you if the item is in stock. As soon as we receive your return, we will dispatch your new size to you after the goods have undergone a quality control check.  You will be charged the following to ship the exchanged pair to you again: UK - £6, EU - £12, Rest of the World - £24.

If you are located outside the EU you will be required to pay additional taxes and duties on the replacement item.
