Genet, Genet, Genet !! Possibly the most recognisable Mr. Hare shoes in existence. I designed the Genet in my first ever collection back in 2008. In the first season no stores bought it. Many companies would have consigned it to the archive and moved on. I put a picture of it on my website and watched the requests come rolling in. Today Genet adorns the feet of everyone from my own company chairman to Tinie Tempah and A$VP Rocky. Originally it was in homage to my stoosh Jamaican uncles who would roll out sheer shoe flyness and silk socks every year at Grand Ma and Pa Rattray’s New Years Eve party. I knew at a young age that uncle style was something you achieved not something you could just buy.
The Genet now comes in about 5 colours from low key to popping. There are six tassels and they slant at a 45 degree angle like a big bunch of Hydrangeas. That's why they are named after the French author of Notre Dames des Fleurs, Jean Genet.
All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment and within 14 days of online purchase. Returns will be charged at the following rates, per box: UK - £5, EU - £10, Rest of the World - £20. Any subsequent returns from the same order will incur additional shipping costs. Please contact customerservices@mrhare.com to obtain a returns number and pay for delivery in order to proceed with your return. Our courier service, ILG Direct will contact you to organise a collection. The returns number should be written on your original invoice and on the airway bill or return-shipping label you are provided by the courier. We request that returns are shipped through our courier ILG Direct. MHL is not liable for any returned goods which are not returned in this way. Failure to obtain a returns number or return goods using ILG Direct does not affect your statutory rights.
MHL will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been worn and are creased and/or scratched in any way. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received in the conditions mentioned, customer should notify us (by phone or email) on the same day if they wish to return. We strongly advise all customers to check products thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
Please be aware that shoes must be returned with their original designer packaging. Shoes returned without their original boxes will not be accepted.
Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).
Should you wish to exchange an item for an alternative size, please email us when you request your returns number and we will reserve it for you if the item is in stock. As soon as we receive your return, we will dispatch your new size to you after the goods have undergone a quality control check.
If you are located outside the EU you will be required to pay additional taxes and duties on the replacement item.
Please be aware that we are unable to exchange an item for an alternative colour or style, subject to availability.
