The Bernard was originally included in the collection to be the ideal shoe for a good night out in Soho. Smart enough to enter the classy places, practical enough to take anything the dives could throw at it and Mr. Hare enough to make it special. Since the winter of 2011 I have marched through Parisian snowfalls in my Bernard’s and I have parlez’d at Number 10 in my Bernard’s and I have graced the pages of ‘How To Spend It’ in my Bernard’s. Not to mention, countless nights of sheer frivolity in the hallowed W1 back streets of my beloved nighttime village which is Soho. Cheers to that !! We will only stop making Bernard’s when the last tap in Soho runs dry and they level the place to the ground and not a day before.
All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment and within 14 days of online purchase. Returns will be charged at the following rates, per box: UK - £6, EU - £12, Rest of the World - £24. In some cases, returns will be free of charge where there is a useable nearby UPS drop off point - please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for locations near you. Any subsequent returns from the same order will incur additional shipping costs. Please contact email@example.com to obtain a returns number and pay for delivery in order to proceed with your return. The returns number should be written on your original invoice and on the airway bill or return-shipping label you are provided by the courier. We request that returns are shipped through our courier UPS. MHL is not liable for any returned goods which are not returned in this way. Failure to obtain a returns number or return goods using UPS does not affect your statutory rights.
MHL will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been worn and are creased and/or scratched in any way. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received in the conditions mentioned, customer should notify us (by phone or email) on the same day if they wish to return. We strongly advise all customers to check products thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
Please be aware that shoes must be returned with their original designer packaging. Shoes returned without their original boxes will not be accepted.
For reasons of hygiene, any fragrance or toiletries item which have been opened may not be returned, unless faulty.
Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).Should you wish to exchange an item for an alternative size, please email us when you request your returns number and we will reserve it for you if the item is in stock. As soon as we receive your return, we will dispatch your new size to you after the goods have undergone a quality control check. You will be charged the following to ship the exchanged pair to you again: UK - £6, EU - £12, Rest of the World - £24.
If you are located outside the EU you will be required to pay additional taxes and duties on the replacement item.
Please be aware that we are unable to exchange an item for an alternative colour or style, subject to availability.
